“Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness and bad days give you experience”

Human beings are the finest creation of nature. We are strong, and resilient, but can also be vulnerable at the same time. Our bodies need care, and so do our minds.

Pandemic has proved that none of us is immune to the ill effects of Stress and the mental health toll it can take on all of us. Be it genetic or stress related, all of us are susceptible to mental health-related challenges at some or other point in our lives.

We can choose to suffer in silence or show courage in taking that first step in seeking proper help.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or any other emotional or mental health-related conditions, it is important that you know that there is hope for a better tomorrow.

Women in the Workforce

When the pandemic hit in 2019 it became evident that the section of the society that struggled the most were women, working women with children.

Having to balance work, and family life, especially having to take care of children at home, while ensuring they are getting their work tasks done and their children are attending online schooling, worrying about the safety of their families while at the same time ensuring the bills are paid, there is food on the table, that too amidst huge job losses and pay cuts.

I couldn’t help but see the plight of my colleagues especially women colleagues who were also mothers. Of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, hospital staff, and front-line workers as well as other women in the workforce.

The day-to-day stress peaked, and rates of depression and anxiety skyrocketed in the general public but mostly in working women.

Many were able to gain the courage to break the stigma on mental illness and seek help but most struggled in silence.

"My name is Dr. Najmun and I am the founder of Zehen Global.

At Zehen Global Telepsychiatry, we believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. My practice is rooted in a trauma-informed philosophy, meaning we recognize the profound impact that complex trauma, PTSD, narcissistic abuse, and other adverse life experiences can have on a person’s mental, emotional, and physical health. We approach each client with compassion, safety, and trust at the core of our work, never judgment.

We are also neurodivergent-friendly, creating a supportive environment for individuals with ADHD, autism, learning differences, and other neurodivergent experiences. We understand that healing is not “one-size-fits-all,” and we tailor care to meet each client’s unique needs, communication styles, and pace.

Our clinicians are trained to recognize the subtle signs of trauma responses—such as hypervigilance, emotional numbing, people-pleasing, or difficulty trusting—so we can respond in ways that empower rather than retraumatize. We work collaboratively, helping clients reclaim their voice, rebuild self-trust, and create a life aligned with their authentic selves.

At Zehen Global, your story matters. Your healing journey matters. And we are here to support you so that you do not feel alone on this healing journey.

Through video content, blogs, posts on social media, seminars, webinars, and various other community events,  I also raise awareness and educate the general public about the importance of our  Emotional and Mental well-being. Thus breaking the stigma on such.

After doing a comprehensive evaluation, we will together decide what will help you the most. My approach is that of collaboration. Cause I strongly believe that no one knows your body the way you do.

Contact me today if you’re a working woman, a mother in New Jersey, looking for psychiatric consultation for a diagnostic evaluation, or medication management, or are looking for options of receiving both therapy and medications."
