Fouzia Fayaz
Fouzia, 19 years old, is a psychology and international relations student at Ashoka University, India. She has been the Students Advisory Board member for Kashmir Education Initiative wherein she advocates for students and amplifies their concerns. She is also a coordinator/founder of “Mouj”, a women-led initiative for providing tangible resources and support to single Kashmiri mothers from underprivileged backgrounds. She is our volunteer for writing educational blogs on this site and for Zehenkashmir, our social media campaign to break the stigma on mental illness in the conflict-ridden area of Kashmir.
